Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Med/Surg nursing care with compassion and clinical precision
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Monitor patient progress and escalate changes in condition promptly
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and safe discharge

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be valid for practice in Georgia)
• Experience or strong familiarity with Med/Surg nursing (clinical competence in the unit’s scope of care)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; advanced certifications encouraged
• Comfortable with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Strong communication, teamwork, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced setting

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• BSN preferred but ADN holders with strong Med/Surg experience are welcome

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of Med/Surg patient assessment and nursing interventions
• Medication administration and IV therapy experience
• Proficiency with common hospital monitoring and documentation systems
• Ability to triage, prioritize, and manage multiple patients safely
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
