Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on your unit
• Assess patient status, identify changes, and take timely action
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Coordinate with the care team to develop and execute patient plans
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to families and providers
• Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate clinical records
• Support transitions of care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS preferred where applicable
• Prior experience in medical/surgical or hospital acute care preferred (1+ year ideal)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and medication administration skills
• IV therapy and wound care experience
• Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
