Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care and advocate for patient needs
Perform thorough assessments and collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document patient status and care in the electronic health record in a timely manner
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
Escalate clinical concerns to appropriate team members and participate in quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain one
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications encouraged
Clinical experience in acute care or related settings preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Ability to pass facility onboarding and required health screenings

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and safety practices
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Infection control and patient safety protocols
Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
