Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care consistent with facility protocols
Perform nursing assessments and document findings clearly and promptly
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to create and update patient care plans
Educate patients and families to support recovery and self-care
Monitor patient conditions and escalate concerns to providers when needed
Participate in unit-based initiatives to improve patient outcomes and workflow

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact license eligible
Current BLS certification required; ACLS or PALS as applicable or preferred by unit
Clinical experience in acute care settings preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred or working toward BSN

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and documentation skills
Medication administration and IV therapy competence
Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Teamwork mindset and effective communication with patients and staff
