Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients, managing complex, life-sustaining therapies
• Operate and manage CRRT and ventilator support; perform or assist with intubations and central line care
• Deliver safe medication administration and monitor patients using Philips monitors and Alaris pumps
• Document care accurately and efficiently in Meditech to ensure continuity and compliance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and bedside staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Coach and support patients and families through education, empathy, and clear communication
• Adhere to unit policies, infection control standards, and patient experience expectations (ICARE)

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with CRRT, intubations, and central line care
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation and bedside equipment (Philips monitors, Alaris pumps)
• Ability to meet contract scheduling requirements and float per hospital needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing principles and ventilator management
• Proficient with CRRT operation and troubleshooting
• Skilled in airway management and central line procedures
• Hands-on experience with Philips monitoring systems and Alaris infusion pumps
• Accurate electronic documentation in Meditech
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and teamwork skills in a 1:2 patient ratio ICU environment
