Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in the ICU
Monitor and assess critically ill patients, interpreting data and trends
Administer medications, IV therapies, and titratable drips according to protocols
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition and emergencies
Document patient care accurately and communicate clearly with families

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license; Louisiana licensure preferred or eligible
Experience caring for critically ill patients in an ICU setting (ICU experience preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care equipment
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass facility onboarding requirements

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and monitoring
Ventilator management and respiratory support
Hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive medications
Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
Infection prevention and sterile technique
Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
