Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care for adult ICU patients
• Monitor and interpret complex physiological data and respond appropriately
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and titrate drips per protocol
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes promptly to providers
• Educate patients and families with compassion during stressful times
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit policies and standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (RN) in Hawaii or compact licensure where applicable
• Critical care nursing experience (ICU) preferred; demonstrated competency in ICU care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) strongly preferred
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and prioritize complex patient needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to patient safety

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment skills in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
• Familiarity with critical care pharmacology and infusion therapy
• Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
• Ability to interpret lab results and invasive/noninvasive monitoring
• Skilled in crisis resource management and rapid response procedures
