Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ED setting
Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs quickly and accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely and per protocol
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the patient record
Participate in continuous quality improvement and ED process optimizations

Qualifications

Current, active RN licensure in Hawaii or eligibility to obtain one
Experience or strong interest in Emergency Department (ED/ER) nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding
Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in urgent situations

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and rapid assessment in emergency settings
Comfort with IV therapy, medication administration, and urgent interventions
Ability to interpret basic ECG findings and monitor patient status
Clear, calm communication with patients and the care team
Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate documentation
