Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for patients in the Skies HC and Rehab Center
• Assess patient condition and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
• Monitor and document patient progress in the medical record with attention to detail
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and transitions
• Deliver patient and family education to support recovery and discharge planning
• Respond effectively to urgent changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support rehab-focused interventions and assistive therapies as directed

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license (Class RN|LPN) valid in New Mexico
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred or as required by facility
• Clinical experience in acute care, rehab, or long-term care preferred
• Valid professional background check and health screening per facility policy
• Strong assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, PN diploma, or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals, patient safety, and infection control
• Skilled in medication administration and clinical documentation
• Experience with care planning and interdisciplinary coordination
• Ability to manage overnight patient needs and prioritize tasks
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong patient/family education skills
