Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate C-Arm and fluoroscopy equipment safely during outpatient surgery and interventional procedures
• Prepare and present images and pertinent patient information for timely interpretation
• Educate patients and families about procedures, risks, and preparation to ensure a calm, informed experience
• Perform equipment quality control checks and troubleshoot issues, notifying appropriate personnel as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality and regulatory standards
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies to avoid interruptions in care
• Collaborate with imaging, nursing, and surgical teams to support efficient workflow and positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiology program
• Current ARRT certification required
• State radiologic technologist licensure as applicable in Minnesota
• Current BLS certification required
• Approximately 1 year of clinical radiography experience preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiology program
• ARRT certification and state licensure (as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in radiographic procedures and image quality analysis
• Experience using C-Arm and fluoroscopy systems in an outpatient surgical setting
• Competence with invasive/interventional procedure support when applicable
• Equipment quality control and routine troubleshooting ability
• Patient positioning, patient care, and radiation safety practices
• Accurate documentation and familiarity with departmental workflows
• Inventory management and basic supply coordination
