Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
- Perform general X-ray, trauma imaging, portable radiography and OR imaging as needed
- Evaluate images for technical quality and request repeat images when necessary
- Provide imaging services in the Emergency Department, inpatient units, and operating room
- Float between assigned departments and provide cross-coverage to meet patient needs
- Precept and work with radiography students from Grady, performing competency check-offs
- Learn and expand skills in pediatric and neonatal imaging when assigned
- Collaborate with technologists and clinicians to prioritize trauma and emergency cases
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- BLS required
- Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT-approved radiography program
- Minimum 1 year experience at a Level 1 trauma center OR 2–3 years at a large Level 2 trauma facility
- Comfortable and experienced working in OR, ED, inpatient and performing portable radiography
- Willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging and to float as needed
Education
- Graduated from a JRCERT/ARRT-approved radiography program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with EPIC and Sectra EMR/PACS systems
- Experience with GE, Philips and CareStream imaging equipment
- Strong image quality evaluation and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced trauma and emergency settings
- Experience with student training, precepting and competency assessments
- Flexible team player comfortable with floating and cross-coverage
