Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Operate and utilize the PACS system accurately for image storage and retrieval
• Verify MRI schedules and coordinate with Radiologists to confirm scan protocols
• Maintain IV/contrast competency and safely administer contrast per protocol
• Provide excellent patient care and positioning with attention to safety and comfort
• Handle clerical and office duties to support department efficiency and timely workflows
• Work independently in the x-ray suite during scheduled shifts and escalate issues appropriately
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and imaging records

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification in Radiology and/or MR (required)
• IEMA licensure (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS as required by specific departments (preferred/required per facility areas)
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent certification
• Minimum ~1 year technical experience preferred
• Able to work every weekend (Friday–Sunday) and function independently on shift

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or certification in radiology

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in MRI and general radiologic imaging techniques
• Hands-on experience with PACS systems and image management
• X-ray operation and patient positioning
• IV/contrast administration and competency
• Strong clinical documentation and clerical skills (schedule verification, basic office duties)
• Ability to follow radiology protocols and collaborate with Radiologists
• Patient-focused communication and safety-first mindset
