Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate general X-ray, portable radiography and fluoroscopy equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Support OR procedures using C-arms for ortho and spine cases while maintaining sterile technique
• Provide rapid, accurate imaging coverage for the ED and inpatient areas in a Level 1 trauma environment
• Chart imaging and patient data in Epic and manage studies in Fuji PACS with attention to detail
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, PAs and the care team to prioritize patient safety and timely care
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and facility protocols — protect patients and colleagues
• Assist with equipment orientation, department tours, and onboarding during orientation week

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) — required
• BLS (AHA) certification — required
• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience, including C-arm/OR procedural coverage
• Comfort working in a Level 1 trauma environment with fast-paced ED and inpatient workflows
• Proficiency with Epic charting and Fuji PACS (experience with GE C-arms, Carestream, Shimadzu a plus)
• Ability to be in-state for orientation week; agency must provide radiation badge
• Driver’s license and ability to work within a 60-mile radius (DL must be submitted)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of general X-ray, portable radiography, fluoroscopy and C-arm techniques
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record workflows and Fuji PACS image management
• Experience with GE C-arms and common portable vendors (Carestream, Shimadzu)
• Solid understanding of trauma imaging protocols and OR imaging requirements
• Excellent patient positioning, image quality assessment and radiation safety practices
• Clear communication skills for working with surgeons, radiologists and multidisciplinary teams
