Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled physical therapy interventions tailored to each patient
Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize care
Educate patients and families on home programs and discharge plans
Maintain compliance with facility policies and state licensing requirements

Qualifications

License to practice as a Physical Therapist in Washington or eligibility to obtain one quickly
Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred
Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Prior experience in outpatient, inpatient, or pediatric settings is a plus
Ability to pass background checks and any required onboarding/orientation

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master or Bachelor in related field considered

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and exercise prescription
Skilled in documentation and use of electronic health records
Comfortable working independently and as part of a care team
Time management and prioritization during short-shift encounters
