Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to patients and care teams
• Verify prescriptions for dosing, interactions, and appropriateness
• Counsel patients and healthcare staff on medication use and safety
• Collaborate closely with prescribers and nursing staff to support patient care
• Maintain clear, compliant documentation of all dispensing and clinical interventions
• Participate in medication reconciliation and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist credential (RPh)
• Active pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Texas preferred
• Experience working in a clinical or hospital pharmacy setting is a strong plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety
• Excellent communication skills for patient counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication safety principles and best practices
• Familiarity with pharmacy workflows and dispensing processes
• Ability to review clinical orders for dosing and drug interactions
• Comfort using electronic pharmacy systems and documentation tools
• Customer-focused approach with good problem solving and prioritization
