Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide direct patient care for inpatients (including ER, acute care and PACU) and outpatients supported by Copley therapy services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on rehabilitation and safe discharge
• Deliver specialty interventions, including aquatic therapy at satellite outpatient sites when appropriate
• Participate in weekend and holiday inpatient rotations to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, PT/SLP and the broader care team to coordinate patient-centered treatment
• Document assessments, progress and discharge planning accurately and timely in the medical record
• Adapt interventions for transitions of care and provide caregiver education to support home safety

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating and treating patients in inpatient settings (ER, acute care, PACU) and in outpatient/satellite clinics
• Comfortable with aquatic therapy and working across multiple treatment sites
• Able to work rotating shifts and participate in weekend/holiday rotations
• Strong clinical reasoning, treatment planning and rehabilitation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across disciplines
• Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to manage caseloads in a dynamic environment

• Patient evaluation and evidenced-based treatment planning
• Rehabilitation strategies for inpatient and outpatient populations
