Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on orthopedic therapy to patients recovering from shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow injuries
- Evaluate and treat a diverse caseload including orthopedic, CVA, MS, and head injury patients
- Provide specialized upper extremity therapy in outpatient, acute inpatient, and rehab settings
- Document patient progress using ReDoc and Meditech systems
- Collaborate with rehab aides and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Occupational Therapist license required
- BLS certification required
- Outpatient orthopedic experience with focus on upper extremity therapy
- Hands-on experience treating shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis and fractures
Knowledge & Skills
- Orthopedics and upper extremity therapy
- Shoulder, wrist, and elbow rehabilitation
- Lymphedema training is a plus
- ReDoc and Meditech documentation systems
- Acute inpatient, rehab, and outpatient care settings
