Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 4-hour shift (start/end times and days to be confirmed); orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
Measure and document vital signs accurately and efficiently
Prepare exam rooms and clinical supplies to keep the day moving
Assist clinicians during exams and minor procedures
Document patient encounters and updates in the electronic chart
Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed
Support a positive patient experience — empathy matters
Participate in orientation activities to ramp up teammates

Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical training preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable taking vitals and performing basic clinical tasks
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Previous outpatient or clinic experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with taking and recording vitals
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or willing to learn
Strong patient communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of infection control and basic clinical procedures
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking
