Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Monitor resident condition and communicate changes promptly to the care team
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges with attention to dignity and safety
Support family communication with empathy and professionalism
Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment and help mentor newer staff

Qualifications

Current LPN license in good standing (PA license preferred)
Valid basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Minimum experience: prior LPN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited nursing program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic wound care and restorative nursing principles
Familiarity with electronic health records or willingness to learn
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in a fast-paced care setting
Teamwork, time management, and compassionate bedside manner
