Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
Collaborate with nursing team and leadership to coordinate care plans
Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) and ensure patient comfort
Maintain accurate, timely charting in the facility's documentation system
Support a positive, respectful environment for patients, families, and staff

Qualifications

Current LPN licensure (Licensed Practical Nurse) — Pennsylvania license preferred
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable with medication administration and basic clinical procedures
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Previous long-term care or facility experience preferred but not required

Education

Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assessments and clinical documentation
Skill with medication administration and IV/shot protocols as applicable
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Ability to use electronic health records and follow care plans
Strong interpersonal skills for resident-centered care
