Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, wound care, and basic assessments
Administer medications and document care accurately and timely
Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Maintain clear, professional communication with patients and families
Follow facility policies and infection control practices to keep patients safe

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — required
Comfortable working per diem shifts and adaptable to varying schedules
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Reliable, professional, and committed to patient-centered care

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN/LVN)

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational nursing skills: vital signs, basic assessments, and documentation
Safe medication administration and basic clinical procedures
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during an 8-hour shift
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a care team
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
