Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care following individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and clinical observations
• Assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic health record
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based teamwork

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania
• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and ability to work collaboratively
• Previous LPN experience preferred but motivated new grads are welcome to apply

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program (Diploma or Certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid skills in medication administration and basic patient assessments
• Familiarity with documentation and electronic health record systems
• Understanding of infection control practices and safety protocols
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient and team communication
• Basic wound care and mobility assistance knowledge
