Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts (schedule varies; exact start/end times provided by facility), rotating days and weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform focused patient assessments and report changes promptly
Document patient status, medications, and interventions in the chart
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes to ensure smooth transitions
Support infection control and safety practices to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Georgia (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts in an inpatient/hospital environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered attitude
Prior LPN experience in inpatient or acute care settings preferred but new grads welcome to apply

Education

Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program
Active LPN license in Georgia

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic patient assessment and vital signs interpretation
Safe patient handling and infection prevention
Electronic health record charting and documentation
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
