Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to patients in the assigned unit
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accurately
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the care team promptly
• Perform routine clinical procedures such as wound care and basic assessments
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation and handoffs
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (expected to hold appropriate state license)
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willing to obtain on hire
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Previous clinical experience preferred but new grads who are confident and coachable are welcome

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in medication administration and basic clinical procedures
• Skilled at patient observation, documentation, and recognizing changes in condition
• Familiarity with infection control best practices and safety standards
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and prioritize tasks
• Comfort with electronic charting systems and timely documentation
