Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care at the bedside
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patient condition and report any changes to the care team
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and timely
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure smooth transitions
Maintain infection control standards and a safe patient environment

Qualifications

Current LPN license or practical nurse certification; eligible to practice in Georgia
Completion of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfort working 12.5-hour clinical shifts and flexible per-diem scheduling
Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
Reliable, professional, and patient-focused with good teamwork and communication

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational medical-surgical nursing knowledge and bedside skills
Medication administration and dosage calculation accuracy
Basic assessment skills, vital signs, and recognizing clinical change
Electronic medical record documentation and charting proficiency
Effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Time management and prioritization during longer shift blocks
