Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in line with facility protocols
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care
• Perform focused patient assessments and report changes to the care team
• Collaborate with RN staff and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate, timely EMR/charting and handoff communications
• Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff
• Support patient and family education to promote recovery and well-being

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in Georgia or eligible for state licensure
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent training
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working in an acute care/hospital environment and following facility protocols
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Prior LPN experience preferred but motivated new grads are welcome to apply

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN/LVN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Infection control standards and safe patient handling
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional bedside manner
