Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed with recruiter); LPN shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
Administer medications and document treatments accurately
Monitor and record vital signs, noting changes in patient condition
Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care
Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
Maintain clear, timely charting in the patient record to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Active LPN license (appropriate to practice as an LPN)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willing to obtain
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shift assignments
Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team
Prior LPN experience preferred but motivated new grads are welcome to apply

Education

Vocational Nursing diploma or equivalent (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic clinical nursing procedures
Patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs
Charting and documentation best practices (EMR familiarity a plus)
Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical environment
Patient-centered care and effective communication with families
