Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care to residents
Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility policy
Perform accurate patient assessments and report changes promptly
Document care clearly and timely in the patient record
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to support resident goals
Support admissions, discharges and smooth transitions of care
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license for Massachusetts (or RN license if applying as RN)
BLS/CPR certification required (state or employer requirements may apply)
Comfortable working per diem/PRN shifts and adapting to facility needs
Experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing settings is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Education

LPN: Vocational nursing diploma or equivalent
RN applicants: Associate Degree or diploma in Nursing (if applying as RN)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Medication administration and basic pharmacology knowledge
Wound care basics and dressing management
Proficient documentation and charting (electronic or paper)
Infection control and safety-focused practices
Effective teamwork, time management, and resident-centered care
