Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Night shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in the rehab setting
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patient status and report changes to the care team promptly
Assist with rehabilitation activities and support patient mobility goals
Document clinical care and patient responses clearly in the chart
Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and other staff to deliver coordinated care
Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to a positive patient experience

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered LPN license in the state of New Mexico (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
Comfort working 12+ hour night shifts as part of per diem coverage
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Strong teamwork and communication skills; patient-focused attitude

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Familiarity with rehab patient needs and mobility assistance
Clear, professional documentation practices
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, overnight setting
Comfort using electronic medical records and standard clinical tools
