Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor patient conditions, take vital signs, and report changes promptly
• Document care and patient status clearly and timely in the electronic chart
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Deliver education and support to patients and families about care plans
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection-control protocols
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico (required)
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification (required or must obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable with medication administration, wound care, and vital-sign assessment
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts (Mon-Wed) including 12+ hour coverage
• Willingness to complete required background check, drug screen, and health screenings

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
• Active LPN licensure in New Mexico

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and observation skills
• Proficiency in medication administration and basic wound care
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
• Accurate electronic medical record documentation
• Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
• Teamwork, adaptability, and a patient-safety mindset
