Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility) to promote independence
Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team promptly
Perform routine charting and documentation accurately and on time
Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices to reduce fall risk
Help create a warm, home-like atmosphere in the assisted living community

Qualifications

Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — valid in NH (VT credential likely acceptable as noted)
Minimum local experience working in assisted living or long-term care preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) recommended
Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliable and professional
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completed LNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Resident-centered care and basic nursing assistance
Safe transfer and mobility techniques
Accurate documentation and basic charting systems
Infection prevention and basic safety protocols
Effective communication with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams
