Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, respectful care to residents with dignity
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Support safe meal service and assist with feeding as needed
Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
Document care accurately and timely in resident records
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Comfort working with older adults and supporting their daily needs
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Prior experience in long-term care or assisted living is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing support skills and resident care techniques
Ability to take and record vital signs and report findings
Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
Strong interpersonal skills and patience when supporting seniors
Reliable documentation and time-management skills
