Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations with attention to image quality and patient safety
• Operate imaging equipment and select appropriate technical factors for diagnostics
• Instruct and prepare patients for exams, ensuring clear communication and comfort
• Position patients correctly and evaluate images for proper exposure and positioning
• Schedule exams and organize rooms and equipment for efficient workflow
• Maintain radiation safety practices and adhere to regulatory standards
• Document procedures and communicate findings with physicians and clinical staff
• Provide compassionate patient care and protect patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

• ARRT Registry required — Graduate with ARRT Registry (CT registration required)
• Current registration/credentialing in CT and competency in X-Ray/radiography
• Demonstrated experience performing CT and X-Ray examinations
• Strong communication skills and ability to instruct patients effectively
• Manual dexterity and ability to lift/move patients and maneuver equipment (≥20 lbs)
• Ability to work independently, adapt in emergency situations, and make sound decisions

Education

• Graduate with ARRT Registry (CT registration required)

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging and X-Ray radiography techniques
• Radiation safety and ionizing radiation principles
• Patient positioning and patient instruction best practices
• Imaging equipment operation and basic troubleshooting
• Exam scheduling and room setup for radiographic procedures
• Strong communication, problem solving, confidentiality, and adaptability
