Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record accurate vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, mobility, and safe positioning
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Document patient care and observations clearly and promptly
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to support care plans
• Support infection control practices and follow facility safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
• Active state authorization to practice as a CNA (per state rules)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience in a clinical, long-term care, or acute care setting is a plus
• Ability to pass background checks, TB screening, and required health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and bedside skills, including assistance with ADLs
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Basic familiarity with charting and documentation best practices
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and reliable time management
• Understanding of infection control and patient safety principles
