Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding)
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Document care and observations accurately and promptly
- Support safe mobility and fall prevention efforts
- Collaborate with the care team to create a comfortable, respectful environment
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- State-authorized credentials or ability to obtain PA/state clearance
- Comfortable working in a team and supporting patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to pass required background checks and health screenings
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Education
- High school diploma or GED and completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills for assisting with ADLs and patient hygiene
- Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
- Reliable documentation and observation skills
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes promptly
- Strong teamwork and time-management abilities
- Respectful, patient-focused bedside manner
