Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and document resident conditions and any changes, communicating clearly with nursing staff
Support safe and comfortable patient environments, following infection control and safety protocols
Assist with meal service, feeding, and hydration needs while promoting dignity and independence
Collaborate with the care team to follow individualized care plans and contribute to positive outcomes
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful, attentive care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
Active state registration or ability to register in Pennsylvania as required by facility
CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained shortly after hire
Comfort with hands-on resident care and basic clinical tasks
Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements (immunizations, TB screening, etc.)

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong person-centered care and bedside manner
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe transfers
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
Accurate documentation and attention to detail
Teamwork and willingness to learn within a multidisciplinary care setting
