Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs and report changes promptly
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to promote safety and independence
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and follow infection control practices
• Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and the care team to support coordinated care
• Support patient dignity, comfort, and emotional needs throughout each shift

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (state-certified Nurse Aide) required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or to be obtained upon hire if required by facility
• Comfortable providing hands-on patient care with a compassionate, patient-first approach
• Ability to pass required background checks and immunization/screening requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
• Basic documentation and charting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced care environment
