Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to promote independence
Observe and document residents’ conditions and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents
Support mealtime assistance and feeding when required
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or eligible) — certification in Pennsylvania preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic clinical tasks
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Education

High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or willingness to learn
Understanding of infection control and resident safety practices
