Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting with dignity and respect
Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
Support safe transfers and mobility assistance, using proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate care updates clearly
Create a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with nurses and care team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain) required
Minimum experience providing direct patient or resident care preferred
Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check, health screening and required immunizations
Reliable, caring attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Current CNA certification (state-recognized) required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident-centered care
Proficient in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safe handling practices
Comfortable with basic charting and following care plans
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
