Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Perform vital signs, basic clinical tasks, and accurate documentation
Support licensed nursing staff by reporting patient changes promptly
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning to promote mobility
Maintain infection control practices and a clean care environment
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification for Pennsylvania (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude
Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED required
CNA certification in Pennsylvania required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and observation skills
Basic clinical documentation and charting proficiency
Ability to follow care plans and directions from licensed nurses
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
