Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support safe patient mobility: transfers, ambulation and positioning
Assist nursing staff with treatments and documentation to ensure continuity of care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control protocols
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team to enhance patient experience

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (per Pennsylvania state requirements)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Up-to-date immunizations as required by facility policy
Strong patient-focused attitude, reliability, and teamwork

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
Infection prevention and safe patient handling
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
Basic charting and familiarity with electronic documentation or paper charts
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
