Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor patients’ vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Document patient care and observations accurately and timely
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and comfort measures to promote recovery
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients and families

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Prior experience in a long-term care or acute care setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families
Ability to follow care plans, charting procedures, and safety protocols
Willingness to undergo background check and required health screenings
Dependable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a team

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care techniques and ADL assistance
Familiarity with vital sign measurement and infection control practices
Comfortable with electronic and/or paper documentation systems
Understanding of patient safety, mobility assistance, and fall prevention
Good teamwork, time management, and patient-centered communication
