Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with vital signs, observations, and accurate documentation
Support safe transfers and mobility for residents following facility protocols
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and visitors
Communicate clearly with team members and families about resident needs
Participate in shift handoffs and report changes in resident condition promptly

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — Pennsylvania certification preferred
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, infection control practices
Patient-centered care with respect for dignity and privacy
Effective verbal and written communication for documentation and handoffs
Teamwork and collaboration in fast-paced clinical settings
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
