Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Support safe patient transfers and use of mobility aids to reduce fall risk
Follow infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe environment
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to per-diem scheduling
Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
Compassionate bedside manner and strong teamwork skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Basic charting and documentation practices
Infection control and safety procedures
Effective communication with patients and healthcare team
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
