Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment
Measure and document vital signs accurately and promptly
Support mealtime assistance and basic feeding needs with dignity
Maintain clean, safe environments and follow infection control practices
Communicate changes in patient status to nursing staff clearly and promptly
Contribute to a positive patient experience by offering respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — must be valid for New Mexico
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
Current immunizations, TB test, and ability to pass background check as required
Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others
Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in a clinical setting

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs, transfers, and mobility support
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Basic knowledge of infection control and hygiene best practices
Good observational skills and attention to detail for patient needs
Teamwork and clear communication with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
