Shift Type: Per diem (varied days), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with resident transfers, bathing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in condition
Document resident care accurately and timely in the charting system
Support infection control practices and maintain a safe care environment
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and care team members
Help create a comfortable, respectful atmosphere that preserves dignity

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Reliable transportation and ability to work a per diem schedule
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Basic understanding of infection control and safety protocols
Charting and documentation best practices
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
