Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and support to residents
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of resident care and observations
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver person-centered care
• Support mobility and fall-prevention efforts to keep residents safe

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (or eligible to obtain)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or able to obtain quickly
• Comfortable working night shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program completion required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and activities of daily living
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
• Strong observational skills and the ability to report clinical changes
• Teamwork, time management, and empathy in high-paced care settings
