Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for those in your care
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Ability to meet facility requirements such as background check and immunizations
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to work per diem shifts

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Measuring and documenting vital signs accurately
• Basic infection control and safety practices
• Clear communication with nurses, residents, and families
• Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced care setting
• Attention to detail in documentation and following care plans
