Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
• Monitor and document patient condition and report changes to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers and preventative measures to reduce falls and injury
• Follow care plans and infection control procedures with attention to detail
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — must be in good standing
• Current/state-required documentation and the ability to work per diem shifts
• Comfortable working the night shift (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) and adapting to varying assignments
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background check, and any required screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and safe transfer techniques
• Basic vital signs monitoring and charting best practices
• Infection prevention and adherence to standard precautions
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs during shifts
