Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and document patient condition and behaviors accurately and promptly
• Communicate changes in patient status to the nursing team and chart clearly
• Support safe transfers and fall prevention efforts to protect patients
• Contribute to a clean, comfortable, and respectful environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain promptly
• Ability to work overnight shifts and maintain a professional, patient-first attitude
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility policy
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the care team

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable providing direct patient care and assisting with ADLs
• Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation skills
• Infection control and safe handling practices
• Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
